KUNTALA WATERFALLS


The Highest  waterfall in Telangana ,KUNTALA WATERFALL is   in Kuntala , Adilabad District on the River Kuntala . with a height of 45 meters(147  feet) in Telangana state , India 
It is believed that Shakuntala, the beloved wife of KingDushyanth; the pair fell in love with each other in spectacular  the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
This waterfall can be reached through Nirmal from thereon Ghat road to Neradigonda  village. From this village 12 Kilometers to reach the falls. There is a  commutable road to the entry point of Falls.from where ten minitues walk where steps are available
Mansoon and post monsoon are best times for visit to kuntala .i.e., July to December . It is dangerous to get into water at the bottom when the water flow is high due to sharp rocks and twists.
The water fall comes down in two steps. .Private Vehicles and Govt Transport is available till Nerikonda and from there private vehicles. Taxis can be hired from Adilabad/Nirmal or autos from Nerikonda Village by Tourists.
It is situated 270 km from Hyderabad and 124 km from Basara.

Moonlight viewing of allowed for five days in a each month.Poornima (Full Moon Day), 2days before Full Moon Day and 2 days after Full Moon day. If any of these days falls on Friday on that day viewing is cancelled.
A total of 400 Tourists are allowed with 8 batches of 50 each.
Night view is allowed between 20:30 to 00:30 hours only and the duration of visit is 30 minutes.
Tickets are to be bought  24 hours in advance.

HUSSAINSAGAR-- HYDERABAD





Hussain sagar is a lake in Hyderabad. It was built by Hazarat Hussain Shah Wali in 1562.during the regime of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah. 
It has a length of 3.2Km , Width 2.8 Km  with surface area of 4.4 Square Km with maximum depth of 32 Ft .
Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar were built on river Musi.
The road on the Tank Bund was widened in 1946 when Sir Mirza Ismail was the prime minister of Hyderabad.  Further widening and beautification of the Tank bund took place during 1987-88 with the addition of fountains with dancing waters, tantalizing colored lights at night and bronze statues.
Buddha Statue,Lumbini Park , Birla Mandir , NTR Gardens, Imax , Tankbund are some the places worth seeing around Hussain  Sagar.
Buddha Statue , 18 Meter high Standing on a Gibraltor Rock with visibility from necklace Road, Tank Bund, Lumbini Park, is main attraction ,which is sculpted with 450 tonnes of granite Rock by 200 Sculptors.Buddha Poornima Project oversees its maintainance.

SWAMY PUSHKARINI - TIRUMALA



Swamy pushkarini is located on Tirumala Hills on Northeast of Sri venkateswara swamyTemple beside  Adi varaha swamy Temple.
It is a custom in most of the temples Pushkarini is built.
Pushkarini on the Tirumala Hills is special.Taking Bath in the Sri Vari(Lord venkateswara) Pushkarini  is as good as taking bath in Ganges. It relieves devotees of problems.Those who take bath in this Pushkarini gets back their lost glory, Property,Position.
Chakra Snanam 
Chakra Snanam, Chakra (sudarshan Chakra) Snana(Bath) is conducted in this pushkarini. Lacs of people take bath in pushkarini on that day. VIPs , politicians take bath by standing next to Preists,  who conduct bath.  
This celestial fete of holy bath to Sudarshana Chakrattalwar(conch) is being observed four times in a year in Tirumala during annual brahmotsavams, Rathasapthami, Vaikuntha Dwadasi and during Anantha Padmanabha Vratam.
Many of the people going to Tirumala take bath in pushkarini , or atleast sprinkle pushkarini water on their heads
Teppostava:
Pushkarini is illuminated with Lights and people throng to see it Teppostava on the Hills.
Every year during Phalguna Pournami, this festival is celebrated on a grand scale in the Swami Pushkarini for five days in the month of chaitra (March).
On the first day, Lord Rama with Sita and Lakshmana is offered worship and taken out for a celestial ride on the finely decked float in Swamy Pushkarini.
On the second day, Lord Sri Krishna and Rukmini are offered puja and taken for pleasure ride on float.
During the remaining three days beginning with Trayodasi and ending with Pournami, Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi are taken out for a ride in the temple tank.
On the third day, there will be three rounds followed by five rounds and on the final day, the utsava murtis will be taken out for pleasure ride on the impressively decorated float for seven rounds.

RED FORT --DELHI

Red Fort is one of the great monuments of India. How it got its name,because of the extensive use of the use of Red Sand Stones. In Hindi it is konwn as Lal Quila. Lal=Red, Quila = Fort
In 1639 Moghul King Shahjahan wanted to shift his capital from Agra to Sahajahannagar (Now Old Delhi) resulted the construction of Red Fort.
The magnitude of the size of the fort can be estimated by the fact that it took ten years to complete the fort. It has almost two and half kilometer perimeter with tallest structure of 33 meters. The fort has become one of most sought after tourist destination in the modern time.
“Deewan-e-Aam” is hall built for general public to interact with the emperor.
“Deewan-e-Khas is another hall made up of natural stones which was used for privately held meetings of the emperor.
“Hammams” or the bath places specially built for the royal family.
 “Shahi Burj” is another place where the emperor’s office was built and the emperor spent time working privately.
Rang Mahal” or the Palace of Colors was a special place built for the wives of the emperor
“Naqqar Khana” is a place in the Fort where the musicians would play music specific to the particular time of the day.
Certainly Red Fort has got Great History which attracts Tourists from all over the world.
Red Fort is the place where from Prime Minister Addresses  the Nation on the eve of Independence Day and hoists Indian Flag.
Red Fort is one of the important Places to Visit in Delhi.
